THE ROLE OF TRAINER

The role of Trainers must change from one of Professional Presenter to one of Manager of Learning.

The emphasis of training must change from being Trainer Centred to that of Learner Centred.

 

THE ROLE OF MANAGER

The Managers will need to become responsible for identifying skills needed to do jobs and target training to match the Individual and productivity needs.

The role of Manager becomes one of Administrator, Motivator and Coach.

Training will be less effective if the Manager fails to create an opportunity for the Staff member to use new skills once back at work.

WHAT MUST CHANGE?

Managers must change their roles, Trainers must change the way they do business and courses must change the way they target results.
